Prerequisites

The hashport APIs provide all of the necessary information and steps needed for your dApp to integrate with the hashport infrastructure and allow users to port their assets across the ecosystem.

However, the hashport API does not cover:

• wallet management;
• signing methods and contract calls;
• transactional methods and other means by which hashport submits transactions on your (and your user's) behalf.

Therefore, your dApp must have the following prerequisites in order to successfully integrate with the hashport service:

an EVM Wallet Interface (e.g. MetaMask) or a Web3 Provideran HBAR Wallet Interface (e.g. Hashpack) or the Hedera SDKthe ability for users to connect their accounts and send transactions through the above interfaces, providers, and/or SDKs
